The Faculty of Arts offers four study programs at the master's level, with a total of 14 profiles:

VISUAL ARTS – MA
Profile: PAINTING – MA, 60 ECTS

This profile enables students to acquire skills related to the creation and use of painting and other supporting media. Demonstrating the skills to successfully incorporate composition and color in conveying an artistic vision. Experience with various techniques. Developing terminology to criticize one's own work and that of others.

Profile: SCULPTURE – MA, 60 ECTS

This profile provides conceptual materials, techniques and methods to develop students' sculptural art in a practical way. Students will learn how contemporary sculpture is increasingly diversifying, including object production and other forms of spatial art. Student artists as visual communicators will use a variety of approaches and attitudes to articulate and flesh out their ideas. Exercises, and joint projects, in class, go through concept development, selection, execution and public presentation.

Profile: GRAPHICS - MA, 60 ECTS

The profile enables students to engage in an advanced study of color printmaking and further exploration of the black and white image, also realized in lithography. This profile will introduce practical opportunities for engraving, silkscreen, monotype, as well as book arts, lithography and relief printing. Also, knowledge and creation of skills in typesetting and applications of sa,j in artists' books, widely and typography. Courses and topics in this profile include mobile printing, ink mixing, ink printing, and printing procedures.

Profile: COMMUNICATION DESIGN – MA, 60 ECTS

This profile, through relevant courses, teaches students to organize visual images by acquiring the meaning of visual elements such as: line, shape, tone, texture and volume. Students examine and apply design principles such as: repetition, variety, and movement. During the studies, in this profile, students will learn the basic and advanced elements of graphic design and communication, as well as, they will also learn the terminology, guidelines, methods and main principles, to complete the works artistic variety, which are related to marketing, branding and promotion.

MASTER OF MUSIC

Profile: COMPOSITION AND MUSIC PEDAGOGY – MA, 60 ECTS

In accordance with the UP's mission of providing creative artistic and musical pedagogical studies, the Faculty of Arts, Department of Musical Art (DAM) offers the Bachelor of Music study program, which combines the following profiles: Composition and Music Pedagogy , to contribute to the production of creative artistic and pedagogical musical values.

The Bachelor of Music study program produces qualified personnel and produces professional music teachers, either for theoretical subjects in professional schools of music or even for the subject of music education in general, primary and secondary schools.

MASTER OF MUSIC IN PERFORMANCE

Profile: PIANO, SINGING, WIND INSTRUMENTS, STRING AND STRING INSTRUMENTS AND CONDUCTING – MA, 60 ECTS

The Bachelor of Music in Performance study program produces qualified cadres for artistic interpretation/performance in several profiles: artistic interpretation/performance as independent soloist, member of professional ensembles and orchestras, soloist in orchestra, opera and other forms of artistic music. contemporary.

A graduated instrumentalist prepares to contribute as a teacher of interpretation, in the relevant instrument, at the level of pre-university music education.

At the end of the Bachelor of Music in Performance study program (for all profiles of this program) students will acquire artistic skills, analytical musical knowledge and general knowledge and skills.
