The University of Prishtina continues to prove itself as a leading institution of higher education in the Albanian-speaking region. This was once again confirmed in the July update of Webometrics, where UP has achieved an significant improvement in its ranking.

In the overall ranking, UP has climbed 103 positions since the previous Webometrics ranking, which was published in January of this year. This ranking includes approximately 12 thousand higher education institutions from around the world. Moreover, in a yearly comparison, from July of 2022, UP has improved by 130 positions.

According to Webometrics, in the continental ranking, UP is among the top 1,000 universities, ranked 960th among 6,010 institutions from Europe that are subjected to this ranking.

Webometrics is a ranking of higher education institutions conducted every six months by Cybometrics Lab (Spanish National Research Council, CSIC).
