Funded by the Government of Romania, through the Romanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and coordinated by the Agence Universitaire de la Francophonie, the “Eugen Ionescu” Program allows doctoral students and teacher-researchers from all over the world to benefit from a three-month research mobility in one of the higher education institutions partnering with the program in Romania.
Doctoral students and teacher-researchers from member and observer countries of the OIF and Algeria, from higher education establishments that are members of the AUF.

The deadline for submitting applications to the AUF: December 23, 2023, 11:59 p.m. (Bucharest time, GMT+2).

Procedure for submitting applications
Submitting an application for the “Eugen Ionescu” scholarship program is a process that involves the following two steps:
Obtaining a reception certificate from a Romanian university, a partner in the program. The pre-registration file (see the regulations and the list of participating universities below) must be submitted to the prospective university sufficiently in advance to allow the university to process the file.
Submission of the application to the AUF must be completed exclusively online, before December 23, 2023 at 11:59 p.m. (Bucharest time, GMT+2), by clicking on:

No additional documents will be accepted after validation of the online form, even if the call for applications is still open. All documents constituting the file must be written in French. The absence of one of them will automatically result in the rejection of the file.
