Are you a 3rd-year BA student in the fields of natural, social, or economic sciences?

Are you looking for an international Master’s Degree programme designed to equip you with the skills and knowledge needed to address the global challenges of global environment and development?

If the answer is “YES” to both questions, don’t miss the opportunity to get to know the Erasmus Mundus Joint Master in Global Environment and Development (MERGED)!

MERGED is a joint programme developed and implemented by universities in Denmark, Italy, and Poland. The programme provides MERGED students with coordinated and direct access to high quality teaching in Europe, and you can use the international research networks of the teaching staff – to find topics and supervisors – when you decide on your thesis topic.

The first year, all MERGED students are at the University of Copenhagen in Denmark. Besides the many field trips in individual modules, there is a joint spring school where you carry out interdisciplinary fieldwork using the knowledge and tools acquired in the classrooms.

In the second year, they can choose between the specialisation in Sustainable Environmental Development at the University of Warsaw and the specialisation in Agricultural Development at the University of Milan.

The application deadline is 15 January 2024 for non-EU applicants, and 1 March 2024 for EU/EEA applicants, to start studies in autumn 2024.
