The Government of Japan takes a direct approach towards citizens of foreign countries, comprehensively developing its efforts in public relations overseas and cultural exchange so as to foster deep understanding of Japan's policies and national circumstances. The Government is proactively furthering a variety of initiatives including exchange and cooperation within the cultural field as well as supporting the international exchange activities of private entities.

The Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (Monbukagakusho:MEXT) is offering two different Scholarship Programs to Kosovo.

·         MONBUKAGAKUSHO (MEXT) Scholarship for Undergraduate Students
·         MONBUKAGAKUSHO (MEXT) Scholarship for Graduate Students
