The University of Prishtina is pleased to share this call for students to apply for the World House Program at Rondine Cittadella della Pace, located in Tuscany, Italy.
Rondine is an internationally recognized organization dedicated to transforming conflicts and promoting peace across the globe.
The World House Program is an 18-month fellowship that combines academic study with immersive, hands-on conflict transformation training. Fellows live and work alongside peers from diverse backgrounds, including young people from conflict zones, learning the power of empathy, communication, and collaboration. Through this unique program, participants will discover new ways to engage in constructive dialogue, resolve conflicts, and promote peace, both in their communities and globally.
Eligibility criteria:
- Age between 21 and 28
- Holder of a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (or to be completed by July 2025),
- Engaged in civil society, willing to bring a positive change in their communities and the world
Recommend youth showing predisposition to the following characteristics to apply:
· Sensibility and readiness to work on the topics of conflict of the country of origin and conflicts in general
· Leadership, goal-oriented
· Recognize and express emotions (theirs and in a group)
· Community life
· Public speaking and communication
· Team work, active listening and proactivity
· Volunteering and community engagement
· Knowledge about civil society and the non- profit sector
· Sensibility to major global issues
