Prof. Asoc. Dr. Pranvera Breznica Selmani, me përvojë 17 vjeçare akademike, është fokusuar në edukimin profesional farmaceutik, teknika të reja në mësimdhënie dhe publikime shkencore.
Studimet e doktoratës i përfundoi në Universitetin ”Sv. Kiril i Metodij” Fakulteti i Farmacisë në Shkup.
Shërbeu si shefe e Degës së Farmacisë, pastaj si prodekane për financa dhe infrastrukturë në Fakultetin e Mjekësisë të Universitetit të Prishtinës ”Hasan Prishtina’’. Kontribuoi si anëtare e bordit për edukim të vazhdueshëm mjekësor në Ministrinë e Shëndetësisë; Kryetare e komisionit për edukim të vazhdueshëm profesional të Odës së Farmacistëve të Kosovës; Anëtare e kuvendit të Odës së Farmacistëve të Kosovës; Anëtare e këshillit për themelimin e odave të profesionistëve mjekësor; Anëtare e komisionit për projekte dhe donacione të Fakultetit të Mjekësisë; Anëtare e komisionit për studime themelore; anëtare e komisionit për kuadro dhe punë shkencore.
Kontribuoi në përpilimin e statutit të Odës së Farmacistëve të Kosovës; përpilimin e rregullores së punës të komisionit të edukimit të vazhdueshëm profesional të Odës së farmacistëve të Kosovës. Po ashtu kontribuoi në hartimin e Udhëzimit administrativ për variacione 01/2016.
Bashkëpjesëmarrëse në projektin e realizuar nga "Bulgarian NMR center-development of advanced and effective research infrastructure for NMR analysis of bio- and nanonaterials" project DRNF 02/13. Si dhe në projektin ndërkombëtar të financuar nga Akademia e Shkencës dhe Arteve të Maqedonisë dhe Bullgarisë.
Autore dhe bashkëautore e shumë punimeve shkencore-profesionale të botuara dhe të prezantuara brenda dhe jashtë vendit në fushën e Farmacisë.
Aktualisht është prorektore për zhvillim, buxhet, financa dhe bashkëpunim me sektorin privat në Universitetin e  Prishtinës "Hasan Prishtina". Ka titullin profesor i asocuar, në katedrën e Kimisë farmaceutike Kimi toksikologjike dhe Bromatologjisë, ku ligjëron për studentët e Farmacisë në lëndët: Kimi Farmaceutike II, Bazat e sintezës dhe nomenklaturës së barnave, Teknikë instrumentale në laboratorë dhe Praktika në barnatore.
