The University of Prishtina announces a call for applications for students of the Faculty of Electrical and Computer Engineering (FIEK) to participate in the prestigious international program:

“Taiwan-Europe Scholarship – Semiconductor Short-term Training Program 2026”, supported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Taiwan.

This program offers advanced theoretical and practical training in the field of semiconductors for undergraduate (third year and above), Master’s, and PhD students in relevant technical fields.

Program Options:

Program I

• June 29 – July 24, 2026
• Two weeks of intensive courses at:
  • National Taiwan University (NTU), or
  • National Cheng Kung University (NCKU)
• Followed by two weeks of practical training at:
  • Taiwan Semiconductor Research Institution (TSRI)

Program II

• July 13 – July 24, 2026
• Two weeks of practical training at:

Taiwan Semiconductor Research Institution (TSRI)

Training Areas

• Integrated Circuit (IC) design and implementation
• MEMS and Silicon Photonics
• AI/IoT and FPGA prototyping
• Advanced semiconductor manufacturing technologies

Eligibility Criteria

• Students of FIEK (Bachelor – third year or above, Master’s or PhD level)
• Preference will be given to applicants with background knowledge in VLSI, MEMS, or relevant research experience
