On May 14-17, 2024, the 4th international scientific conference "Ecological and Environmental Engineering" (COEE 2024) will be held in Beja, Portugal. This conference is jointly organized by 17 Universities including the University of Life Science Lublin (Poland), University of Agriculture Kraków (Poland), Wrocław University of Environmental and Life Science (Poland), Poznań University of Life Science (Poland), Warsaw University of Life Sciences (Poland), University of Warmia and Mazury Olsztyn (Poland), Gdańsk University of Technology (Poland), Rzeszów University of Technology (Poland), Polytechnic Institute of Beja (Portugal), Polytechnic University of Catalonia (Spain), Czech University of Life Sciences Prague (Czech Republic), Henan Agricultural University (China), University of Pristina "Hasan Prishtina" (Kosovo), Technical University of Crete (Greece) and three polytechnic institutes in Portugal (Coimbra, Setúbal, Viana do Castelo).
As a result of the cooperation between the Department of Environmental Engineering (Faculty of Civil Engineering - Pristina), and Poznań University of Life Science (Poland), this year the University of Pristina has also joined the list of universities organizing this conference.
The rector of the University of Pristina, Prof. Dr. Qerim Qerimi is part of the conference as an honorary patronage, while professors from the Faculty of Civil Engineering, Prof. Dr. Laura Kusari, Prof. Assoc. Figene Ahmedi, and Prof. Ass. Lavdim Osmanaj, are part of the scientific committee of the conference.
The conference will be an excellent opportunity to exchange ideas in several areas of environmental sciences such as water and wastewater technology, water and waste management, environmental risk assessment, renewable energy, sustainable development and circular economy, pollution of air and climate change, geoinformation and remote sensing, and innovation.
