On Tuesday, an anthology featuring firsthand testimonies from those who experienced the events of October 7, 2023, in Israel was launched at the Senate Hall of the University of Prishtina (UP) Rectorate.
At the opening of the event, the Vice-Rector for International Cooperation, Prof. Rozafa Basha, and the Vice-Rector for Science, Prof. Avni Hajdari, welcomed the Ambassador of Israel to Kosovo, Mrs. Tamar Ziv, who attended the promotion ceremony of the anthology.
Titled The Day Everything Changed: Ten Stories from October 7th, the illustrated anthology was detailed to the audience by editor Netta Gurevitch and illustrator Danielle Peleg. The discussion and Q&A session were moderated by Prof. Remzije Shahini-Hoxha, from the Department of Journalism.
The anthology serves as both an artistic and documentary work, compiling deeply personal and tragic testimonies from the events of October 7th—the largest attack on Israeli territory since the Arab-Israeli War.
Ambassador Tamar Ziv had previously visited the UP Rectorate in January of this year to discuss ongoing cooperations between UP and Israeli universities.
