The University of Pristina will celebrate its 55th anniversary on Friday, February 14th, with a series of festive activities.
The 55th anniversary will begin in the Senate Hall of the Rectorate, with an honor given to professors who are concluding their active teaching at the University of Pristina. They will be awarded recognitions for their lifelong contributions to the education of younger generations.
The formal ceremony will then move to the amphitheater of the Central University Library, where a documentary about the University of Pristina will be shown. Rector Arben Hajrullahu will address the attendees, and one of the rectors from partner universities in the region will also speak.
On its anniversary, UP will also receive two video messages from the Interdisciplinary Centre for Security, Reliability and Trust (SnT) at the University of Luxembourg and Gordon Academic College in Haifa, Israel.
On this notable day, the best students of the University of Pristina will also be honored. The 55th anniversary of UP will be accompanied by artistic performances prepared by students and professors from the Faculty of Arts.
