A delegation of leaders and professors from the University of Life Sciences in Poznan, Poland, visited the Rectorate of the University of Prishtina (UP) to strengthen existing ties and establish new cooperations.
The Dean of the Faculty of Environmental and Mechanical Engineering, Klaudia Borowiak; Professor Anna Budka; and Erasmus+ program coordinator Marta Lisiak-Zielinska were welcomed by UP Rector Arben Hajrullahu and Vice-Rector for Scientific Research, Projects, and Innovation, Avni Hajdari.
The Polish guests were accompanied by Florim Grajçevci, Dean of the Faculty of Civil Engineering, and Vlerë Krasniqi, the faculty’s international cooperation coordinator.
Two students from UP’s Faculty of Civil Engineering are currently continuing their studies at the University of Life Sciences in Poznan through the Erasmus+ program, while professors from both institutions have had the opportunity to lecture for students in Poznan and Prishtina.
During the meeting, Dean Klaudia Borowiak highlighted the long-standing cooperation with UP’s Faculty of Civil Engineering, noting that this was her fifth visit to Kosovo and expressing her appreciation for the country.
Rector Hajrullahu congratulated both deans on their numerous joint projects and pledged full support from the rectorate to enhance and strengthen these activities and partnerships.
The University of Life Sciences in Poznan is Poland’s most prominent institution in its field. It comprises six faculties spanning engineering, economics, food sciences, agriculture, veterinary medicine, and forestry.
