The University of Prishtina, on the 55th anniversary of its establishment, signed memorandums of understanding with the University of Elbasan, the National Library "Pjetër Bogdani," and the IBCM College in Mitrovica.

In a festive atmosphere, the joint signing ceremony of the three memorandums took place in the Oval Hall of the Rectorate of the University of Prishtina.

Elvira Fetahu, the rector of the University of Elbasan "Aleksandër Xhuvani," stated that this achievement, formalized today, was not only her desire but also that of the staff of the institution she leads.

She expressed the hope that the memorandum would serve the students of both universities, while conveying her conviction that good things should be shared with each other for a greater common good.

The rector of the University of Prishtina, Arben Hajrullahu, said that today’s event should help intensify cooperation, and afterward, the two rectors exchanged gifts, the plaques representing their respective universities.

Then, a memorandum was signed between UP and the International Public Business College in Mitrovica (IBCM). The rector of this college, Mihane Kerolli, while thanking the University of Prishtina for its assistance and cooperation thus far, stated that only joint work moves things forward.

The third memorandum, on the most significant day for UP, was signed with the National Library of Kosovo "Pjetër Bogdani." Its director, Blerina Rogova-Gaxha, along with rector Arben Hajrullahu, indicated that they are collaborating on an educational program for librarians.

The signing of these memorandums concluded the activities of the 55th anniversary of the establishment of UP.
