A delegation from Saxion University of Applied Sciences in the Netherlands visited the Rectorate of the University of Prishtina to sign a memorandum of understanding with UP.
The Dutch university delegation was welcomed by Rector Arben Hajrullahu and the Vice-Rector for Internationalization and Academic Exchange, Rozafa Basha.
Before signing the memorandum, both parties expressed eagerness to begin concrete cooperation in areas of mutual interest.
Rector Hajrullahu highlighted the potential assistance Saxion University could offer in training midwives in Kosovo, the digitization process, and linking studies with the job market. Meanwhile, Janko Bonnink, the Director of the International Office for Education and Student Support at the Dutch university, proposed cooperation between UP and the Saxion University Center for Entrepreneurship.
According to Janko Bonnink, this center is one of the most successful at the university, assisting young entrepreneurs and students with an entrepreneurial spirit to take their first steps in business.
Subsequently, the memorandum was signed by Rector Arben Hajrullahu and Director Janko Bonnink.
Saxion University of Applied Sciences is the leading university in the eastern Netherlands and one of the largest higher education institutions in the country, with 27,000 students.
