The Rector of the University of Prishtina, Arben Hajrullahu, and the leader of the Austrian Program SHER, Higher Education and Sustainable Research in Kosovo, Aqim Emurlli, participated in a working meeting to harmonize regulations with the current Statute of UP.

During the meeting, the participants agreed to intensively continue work on the Regulation for the appointment, reappointment, and advancement of academic staff at the University of Prishtina and on a separate regulation for the Faculty of Arts.

This regulation serves as the basis for future recruitments and competitions for staff expected to be announced following detailed analyses of existing programs at UP and the country's needs.

Today's meeting and a series of previous and upcoming activities and workshops are the result of the memorandum signed between SHER and the University of Prishtina on November 8, 2024.
