At the eleventh Senate meeting held on January 29, 2025, decisions were made regarding, among other matters, the duration of studies at the University of Prishtina for bachelor's, master's, and doctoral levels.

The Senate decided that, as stipulated in the Statute of the University of Prishtina, a program of study must be completed within a period not exceeding twice the standard duration of that program. Additionally, students have the right to take a break of up to one year from their studies if they have a valid reason.

The meeting also reviewed several positions from the competition announced by the Faculty of Philosophy on May 23, 2023. The Agency for the Prevention of Corruption had identified conflicts of interest in certain cases, leading the Senate, in its meeting on November 27, 2024, to annul the advancements up to the point where no conflict existed.

Following the necessary procedures and avoiding potential conflicts of interest, the Senate decided to reinstate two professors and one assistant to the positions they had won in 2023, while the advancement case of one professor from the May 23, 2023, competition was sent back to the Faculty of Philosophy Council for re-evaluation.

Additionally, the meeting approved the implementation plan for student admissions for bachelor's and master's studies for the academic year 2025/26. The deadline for the announcement of doctoral studies for 2025/26 was set for no later than March 31, 2025. Several doctoral dissertation topics proposed by the Central Council for Doctoral Studies were also ratified.

Senators unanimously approved the inclusion of external experts from the ShER Program, Higher Education and Sustainable Research in Kosova, who are assisting the University of Prishtina in drafting regulations in accordance with the current Statute, as per the memorandum signed on November 8, 2024.

Furthermore, the meeting approved committees tasked with drafting regulations on student assessment and examination procedures, as well as regulations concerning honorary titles, awards, and recognitions of the University of Prishtina.
