Rector Arben Hajrullahu met with Arianit Kurti, the project partner for the EU project "TKAEDITE," and Krenare Pireva-Nuçi, coordinator of the University of Prishtina for this project.
The project "Transformation of the Education System in Kosovo and Albania Through the Use of Digital Technology in Teacher Education" (TKAEDITE) aims to support students and educators in Kosovo and Albania in the process of digital transformation across the entire education system.
The main objectives of the project include training in STEAM, robotics, artificial intelligence, the creation of open educational resources in various formats, and the design of a bachelor's program in Educational Technology.
Following the meeting, Professor Arianit Kurti from Linnaeus University in Sweden held a training session for the academic staff at the University of Prishtina on designing project proposals for Erasmus+ calls.
Rector Hajrullahu thanked Professor Kurti for the training and expressed optimism that the inter-university collaboration would lead to new and innovative projects for the further development of the University of Prishtina.
“I hope that in the next meeting, we will have the opportunity to present successful new projects, won thanks to the experience shared by our partners,” said Rector Hajrullahu.
Mimika Dobroshi from the Erasmus+ Office in Kosovo also highly praised the training for the EU project, which supports education, youth, and sports.
At the end of October 2024, Rector Arben Hajrullahu met with representatives from the Erasmus+ Office in Kosovo, where they discussed advancing the University of Prishtina in such projects.
Kosovo has been part of the Erasmus+ program since 2015, and to date, 6,278 students and professors from higher education institutions have benefited by studying in Europe.
