The second volume of the journal Kosova Anthropologica, published in December, features four scientific articles, two of which focus on life in ancient Dardania.

One of these articles, authored by Arthur Laenger and his colleagues, uses chemical soil analyses from Ulpiana to uncover lime production pits and metallurgical workshops, highlighting the activities carried out during that distant era.

Another study, conducted by Florian Jedrusiak, explores ancient agricultural practices in Dardania by analyzing carbonized plant remains. This research sheds light on local and regional farming systems, providing insight into the diet and economy of ancient Dardania.

Linda Papi's research, also published in Kosova Anthropologica, examines early Celtic influences in Northern Italy and the Upper Adriatic, as well as cultural exchanges between the populations of these regions and the Celts during the Iron Age.

A more contemporary topic, focusing on returnee migrants establishing rural businesses in Kosovo, is explored by Lumnije Kadriu. Her study highlights how returnees leverage transnational networks and social and financial capital to drive the growth of their businesses.

Kosova Anthropologica is published by the Department of Anthropology at the Faculty of Philosophy, University of Prishtina.
