In his welcoming remarks at the inaugural meeting of the Ethics Council, the Rector of the University of Prishtina, Prof. Arben Hajrullahu, described the Ethics Council as the guardian of the values of the University of Prishtina.

The Rector assured the Council members of his and his administration's unwavering support, encouraging them to consistently uphold their responsibilities.

During the meeting, the Council elected Prof. Flamur Hyseni as the Chair for a two-year term.

The new composition of the Ethics Council was approved at the ninth session of the University of Prishtina Senate, held on November 27, 2024.

In addition to Chair Hyseni, the Council comprises the following members: Prof. Safet Merovci, Prof. Rajmonda Nallbani, Prof. Qëndrim Gashi, and Assistant Furtuna Sheremeti.

The Ethics Council of the University of Prishtina is responsible for investigating irregularities and addressing unacceptable behaviors by both academic staff and students.
