Rector Hajrullahu: Anti-Corruption Agency Documents Will Not Be Ignored

In a meeting with Yll Buleshkaj, Director of the Anti-Corruption Agency, Rector Arben Hajrullahu reaffirmed that all documents from the agency concerning the University of Prishtina will be treated with priority and will not remain unaddressed. He expressed gratitude to the agency led by Buleshkaj for its efforts in ensuring that the University of Prishtina operates in compliance with applicable laws.

Rector Hajrullahu and Director Buleshkaj agreed that, starting next year, the University of Prishtina and the Anti-Corruption Agency will organize joint activities. These activities may include educational and informative lectures for students and administrative and academic staff at the university. The aim is to raise awareness, through the expertise of the Anti-Corruption Agency, on topics such as preventing conflicts of interest, whistleblowing, and other relevant issues.

During the meeting, Director Yll Buleshkaj was accompanied by Blerim Kelmendi, Director of the Department for Evaluation, Monitoring, and Analysis. Rector Hajrullahu hosted the guests alongside Vice Rectors Albana Berisha-Qehaja, Avni Hajdari, Naim Jerliu, and Rozafa Basha, as well as Legal Advisor Rina Mehana.

This year, the University of Prishtina has also initiated joint activities with the Institution of the public advocate.
