Major General Enrico Barduani, the Commander of KFOR in Kosova, delivered a lecture to students and professors from the Department of Journalism at the University of Prishtina.
In his lecture, Major General Barduani discussed KFOR's efforts in fostering peace and stability in Kosova. He also shared insights into the operations of KFOR Radio, which has been a significant communication platform since its establishment by British troops in 1999. Since 2000, KFOR Radio has served as the voice of all KFOR soldiers.
Major General Enrico Barduani assumed his role as Commander of the international peacekeeping force in Kosova on October 11, 2024.
The University of Prishtina is also engaged in a collaborative project with the U.S. Army to identify ticks and other organisms capable of transmitting viruses, bacteria, and parasites that pose risks to soldiers and the local population in the Camp Bondsteel area.
