The University of Prishtina has signed a cooperation agreement today with Panteion University of Political and Social Sciences in Athens, Greece. The agreement was formalized during a meeting at the rectorate of Panteion University, where Prof. Arben Hajrullahu, Rector of the University of Prishtina, and Prof. Christina Koulouri, Rector of Panteion University, signed the agreement.
Also present at the meeting were Prof. Rozafa Basha, Vice Rector for Internationalization and Academic Exchange; Prof. Dimitris Christopoulos, Head of the Department of Political Science at Panteion University; and Mr. Fitim Gllareva, Head of the Kosova Office in Greece.
The agreement aims to promote cooperation in education, science, and technology, focusing on knowledge exchange and innovation. It also includes initiatives for the exchange of academic staff and students between the two universities.
Rector Hajrullahu and Vice Rector Basha also visited the International Relations Office of Panteion University, where they met with Director Ms. Eleni Vasileou. They discussed opportunities for student and staff mobility under the Erasmus+ program and potential cooperation on joint projects within the Horizon Europe framework.
Panteion University, the oldest institution in Greece for political and social sciences, is an important partner in this agreement, marking a new chapter in the international collaborations of the University of Prishtina.
