In an introductory meeting between Rector Arben Hajrullahu, his team, and journalists from Kosova's media outlets, pathways for collaboration to advance the University of Prishtina were discussed.

Rector Hajrullahu shared his perspective on the profession of journalism and emphasized, “We, the University of Prishtina and the media, are by no means on opposing sides.”

He further stated that the shared goal of the University of Prishtina’s management and journalists should be to take the university several steps forward.

For Rector Hajrullahu, positive news about and surrounding the University of Prishtina should be featured in the media and widely promoted by everyone.

Highlighting transparency and accountability as the principles underpinning his governance, Rector Hajrullahu informed the media that any negative incidents would not be swept under the rug. He invited journalists to report on all potential negative phenomena at the University of Prishtina.

The rector also announced plans to meet with representatives of civil society organizations.
