The event, hosted today at the premises of STIKK, the Kosova ICT Association, brought together leaders and experts to discuss the importance of entrepreneurship in driving economic and social development.

Prof. Berisha-Qehaja shared valuable insights on the significance of collaboration between academia and industry and how the University of Prishtina is preparing students to meet the demands of the labor market.

She emphasized the importance of the Advisory Bodies at the University of Prishtina, which foster dialogue and cooperation between the private sector and academia in updating study programs, developing research projects, and offering professional internships.

Prof. Berisha-Qehaja also highlighted the UP Innovation Cluster (UPCO), a joint initiative of the University of Prishtina, the Municipality of Prishtina, and the Kosova Chamber of Commerce, which promotes innovation and entrepreneurship.

The Vice Rector pointed out that through numerous collaborations with the public and private sectors, the university has created an environment that supports innovation, creativity, and an entrepreneurial spirit among students.

The link between the labor market and university education, as well as the enthusiasm and attitude of students, was also emphasized by Rector Arben Hajrullahu in a separate discussion organized by the Ministry of Industry, Entrepreneurship, and Trade at the end of October.
