On Monday and Tuesday, a team of international experts and representatives from the Kosova Accreditation Agency (KAA) will conduct meetings at the Rectorate and other facilities of the University of Prishtina as part of the institutional reaccreditation process.
On the first day of this pivotal event for the University of Prishtina, Rector Arben Hajrullahu, accompanied by Vice Rectors Albana Berisha Qehaja, Avni Hajdari, Naim Jerliu, and Rozafa Basha, as well as the Deputy Chair of the Governing Council, Arbresha Turjaka, met with the team of international experts and KAA representatives.
The expert team, consisting of Professors Melita Kovacevic, Magdalena Platis, Mauro Zarrelli, and Ms. Marija Vasilevska, along with officials from the Kosova Accreditation Agency, including Director General Naim Gashi, Director of the Department for Assessment and Accreditation Arianit Krasniqi, and Senior Monitoring Officer Shpresa Hoxha, visited the Rectorate and other university spaces to assess the learning environments, staff performance, and resources available to students at the University of Prishtina.
The meeting included an open discussion with a question-and-answer session between KAA representatives and the University of Prishtina’s management.
During the two-day reaccreditation process, the KAA team is also scheduled to meet with various university bodies responsible for quality assurance, as well as professors, students, and alumni.
The visit will culminate in a closing meeting between the expert team, KAA representatives, and the University of Prishtina’s management.
