At the Faculty of Law, the results of the research project “Cost-Benefit Analysis of Financial Legislation in Kosovo”, funded by the University of Prishtina, were presented.
The project was developed by the Department of Financial Law, coordinated by Professor Fitore Morina. Alongside Professor Morina, Professor Artor Nuhiu from the University of Prishtina also contributed to the project.
From other higher education institutions, professors and collaborators Simeana Beshi, Fitim Gashi, and Egzona Kozhani participated in the project.
The event to present the project findings was attended by the Vice-Rector for Budget, Finance, and Cooperation with the Public and Private Sector, Albana Berisha-Qehaja, along with the Vice-Rector for Scientific Research, Projects, and Innovation, Avni Hajdari.
Also present were the Dean of the Faculty of Law, Avni Puka, his team, and students and professors involved in the project.
In her remarks during the launch of the project findings, Vice-Rector Albana Berisha-Qehaja stated that the project “is expected to have a significant impact not only on the academic community of the University of Prishtina but also on society at large.”
Addressing the students who participated in the project, Vice-Rector Berisha-Qehaja noted that “they have gained important practical research skills, which will significantly contribute to their professional development and better prepare them for the labor market.”
According to the Vice-Rector for Budget and Finance, the research findings could also assist “policymakers in drafting more effective and inclusive financial regulations that promote economic growth and social welfare.”
In his speech, Vice-Rector Avni Hajdari praised those involved in the project for completing all required procedures on time and effectively, adding that this should encourage other scientific researchers to complete their work within deadlines.
