The management of the University of Prishtina met with representatives from the Erasmus+ Office in Kosova to discuss this year's opportunities offered by the European Union's education program.
Rector Arben Hajrullahu and Vice-Rectors Albana Berisha Qehaja and Rofaza Basha, along with Mimika Dobroshi, coordinator of the Erasmus+ Office in Kosova, and project officer Blerina Zjaça Osmani, spoke about advancing the University of Prishtina within the Erasmus+ program.
"We met with the new management of the University of Prishtina to discuss the open opportunities of the Erasmus+ program and increasing UP’s participation in this European Union program," said coordinator Mimika Dobroshi.
The European Union's Erasmus+ program, which supports education, training, youth, and sports, has opened doors for higher education institutions in Kosova for international cooperation through projects and academic exchanges.
The University of Prishtina continuously informs students about scholarship applications in many European universities under the Erasmus+ program.
Kosova has been part of the Erasmus+ program since 2015; to date, 6,278 students and professors from higher education institutions have benefited from it.
