Dr. Qerimi, Rector of the University of Prishtina, Vice-rector Basha Jakupi, Prof. Driton Balaj, Dean of the Faculty of Economics, Vice-Dean for Scientific Research and International Cooperation, Prof. Afërdita Berisha-Shaqiri and other staff members gathered for coffee and to talk about the registration of new students for the academic year 2023-2024 at a location very close to the university building: inside the grounds of the International Summer University of Prishtina.

They had the chance to talk about what they thought of the new University of Prishtina students, concentrating primarily on the Faculty of Economics and the courses it offers.

As the biggest academic division at the University of Prishtina, the Faculty of Economics provides five programs in Albanian—Banking and Finance, Management, Marketing, Accounting and Economics—as well as a program in English—Applied Economics and Management.

The Faculty of Economics put out flyers for economics courses and other publications on George Bush Street. Students studying economics will hold a quiz during the day to assess their understanding of the subject within the context of the summer university.
