With the invitation of the vice-rector for internationalization and academic exchange, Arta Basha-Jakupi, as well as the vice-rector for development, budget, finance, and cooperation with the private sector, Pranvera Breznica-Selmani, representatives from the German embassy, dr. Sebastian Leuschner, a diplomat at this embassy, and Adrian Ramabaja, lecturer at the Department of German Language at the University of Prishtina, as well as an official at the German Office for Academic Exchange, visited the rectorate of the UP, to learn more about the institution and to explore possible collaborations.

The representatives of the embassy expressed interest in the opportunities for cultural exchange and UP programs, which may be of interest to German students, as well as the possibility of integrating the German language as an elective subject in various study programs within the University of Prishtina.

The representatives from the UP were particularly interested in the possibilities of student scholarships, the increase in the number of mobilities as well as the possible partnerships between the UP and German universities.

The visit is considered a positive step towards building stronger relations between the UP and the German Embassy.
