In the premises of the rectory, the rector prof. dr. Qerim Qerimi, together with vice-rector Arta Basha-Jakupi, hosted the representatives of the American Council in Kosovo, led by the chairman, dr. David Patton and vice president at the Washington-based American Council, Michael Curtis.

The internationalization of the University of Prishtina and the provision of new long-term and short-term educational exchange opportunities for students and professors at the University of Prishtina were discussed in this meeting.

Meanwhile, further cooperation with the American Council for increasing the opportunities to offer programs for American students to come to Kosovo for an educational and cultural exchange was discussed with special emphasis.
