At the 2025 National Job and Career Fair, held in the "1 Tetori" hall, 130 participating businesses offered 500 job positions for students and graduates of the University of Prishtina.

Prof. Majlinda Gjelaj, Vice-Rector for Institutional Development, Quality Assurance, and Student Affairs, expressed her joy during her opening speech at the launch of the fair, stating that it was a pleasure to gather employers and job seekers in one place.

Vice-Rector Gjelaj emphasized that linking the labor market with education, skill development, and career guidance forms a vital part of the University of Prishtina’s Strategic Plan. She also praised the work of the university’s Center for Career Development, which co-organized the fair with the Employment Agency of the Republic of Kosovo, expressing hope that the center’s programs will continue to evolve with the times.

The 14th edition of the National Job and Career Fair, funded by the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ), featured remarks from the German Ambassador to Kosovo, Jörn Rohde. He noted his surprise at the high number of participating companies. Agon Dobruna, Deputy Minister of Finance, Labor, and Transfers, also addressed the event.

This year’s fair, held under the motto “Build Your Career, Empower Your Future,” enabled young people, students, and University of Prishtina graduates to engage directly with opportunities offered by Kosovo’s businesses through informational booths.

Advisors from the Center for Career Development were available throughout the event to provide support and facilitate connections between job seekers and employers.
