Meeting with Students to Promote the Quality of Studies at the University of Pristina

In a meeting between Rector Arben Hajrullahu, Vice-Rector for Institutional Development, Quality, and Student Affairs Majlinda Gjelaj, and Blerdi Malushi, a professor at the Faculty of Arts, with the Chair of the Student Parliament, Plaurat Krasniqi, and student senators Albrim Rudi and Florian Shala, discussions focused on promoting the University of Pristina to young people on the verge of deciding their future careers. 

During the meeting, Rector Hajrullahu reiterated his commitment to upholding legality, meritocracy, and supporting competent professors with academic integrity to advance the university during his tenure. He urged the Chair and senators of the Student Parliament to actively promote the University of Pristina's true image during their outreach activities to prospective students. 

Chair of the Student Parliament Plaurat Krasniqi noted that communication and discussions on challenges, issues, and achievements between the Rectorate and his organization are progressing positively. He pledged to work exclusively in the interests of the University of Pristina, ensuring lasting benefits for future generations of students. 

Vice-Rector Majlinda Gjelaj emphasized the need to expand student activities to enrich campus life and make it more engaging. Meanwhile, Blerdi Malushi, professor at the Faculty of Arts, stated his dedication to supporting student-driven promotion of the university and proposed concrete ideas to achieve this goal. 

The University of Pristina, which recently celebrated its 55th anniversary, remains Kosovo’s oldest, largest, and most successful higher education institution. It is also ranked highest on prestigious international platforms among all Albanian-language universities in regions with Albanian populations.
