Rector Arben Hajrullahu, along with Vice-Rectors Majlinda Gjelaj, Rozafa Basha, and Avni Hajdari, conducted a visit and work meeting with the leadership of the Faculty of Philosophy, led by Dean Bekim Baliqi.

Rector Hajrullahu, being in the faculty environment that includes the humanities, where everything is discussed and reasoned to find the best possible solutions, reminded that all historical development and human achievements are linked to debate and the exchange of ideas.

He emphasized the necessity of digitizing all processes at UP to gradually eliminate the use of paper, thereby increasing efficiency and preserving the environment. He also highlighted that artificial intelligence is now a reality and should be effectively utilized in work processes.

In the meeting, which included Vice-Deans and Professors Arsim Sinani, Gëzim Selaci, Bardhok Bashota, and Secretary Jeton Hyseni, the need for doctoral studies at the faculty was raised as an issue requiring resolution.

The leadership of the Faculty of Philosophy has also planned an evaluation of all study programs at both levels to create a database that will provide opportunities to assess future directions. In this context, the development of new intra- and multidisciplinary programs, especially at the doctoral level, was identified as essential for further development.

The meeting concluded that with continuous improvement of internal organization, each academic unit and UP itself can achieve better results.

The Faculty of Philosophy is the oldest faculty of the University of Pristina and will celebrate its 65th anniversary on October 30, 2025. With these meetings, the UP management, led by Rector Hajrullahu, completed the initial cycle of regular visits to all academic units of the University of Pristina.
