Albana Berisha Qehaja, is a distinguished academic and industry expert with over 20 years of experience. She earned her Ph.D. in Economic Sciences from the Faculty of Economy, University of Prishtina, specializing in Management and Informatics. Her doctoral thesis, “Creating Competitive Advantages through Strategic Management Tools and Techniques (Case study: Kosovan Enterprises)”, underscores her expertise in strategic management. She demonstrated outstanding performance throughout her studies, consistently achieving excellent academic results.

She has worked in higher education institutions for more than 15 years. Currently, she is an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Economics, University of Prishtina, where she teaches subjects including: Strategic Management, Project Management, Management of Public and Non-Profit Organizations, Intercultural Management, and Data Analysis in Management and Economics. 

Her extensive teaching experience is complemented by significant leadership roles, including serving as the Research and Development Director, Purchasing and Supply Director, and Program Coordinator for several international brands at Albi Group. She is also a member of the Board of Directors at the Regional Water Company “Prishtina” J.S.C. She has worked as a manager/expert in developing strategic plans for several municipalities for local and economic development. She has also worked as a Business Development Consultant.

Alongside her teaching and leadership roles, Albana has published extensively on strategic management and business development, presenting her work at local and international conferences. She is the author of two monographs and has received numerous certificates of recognition and appreciation. She also serves as a reviewer for several prestigious journals, further contributing to the academic community. As of October 1, 2024, she serves as the Vice Rector for Budget, Finance, and Public-Private Sector Cooperation at the University of Prishtina.
