Dear academic, administrative staff, and students of the University of Prishtina, as well as esteemed local and international education experts and researchers,
On June 23 and 24, 2026, the sixth edition of the Kosovo International Conference on Educational Research (KICER) will be held. It is one of the largest education conferences in the region, organized annually by the Faculty of Education at the University of Prishtina.
This year’s conference will bring together over 300 participants, including researchers, teachers, students, education professionals, and representatives from various institutions. The program features more than 120 scientific presentations, 22 parallel sessions, poster presentations, and keynote speeches by both local and international experts.
The theme of this year’s conference focuses on key issues in education, such as curriculum reform, inclusion, early childhood education, technology and artificial intelligence in education, teachers’ professional development, school leadership, assessment, and innovative teaching methods.
During the event, three keynote speakers will deliver lectures: Dr. Seamus Delaney from Deakin University in Australia, Professor Dr. Matthias Ludwig from Goethe University in Frankfurt, Germany, and Kosovo education specialist Dr. Dukagjin Popovci.
Last year, the conference explored the theme of education in the era of globalization and the opportunities for transformative teaching and learning.
