University of Prishtina Hosts Lecture on “The Ethical Duties of Lawyers in the United States: Guardians of the Rule of Law” by Prof. Martin L. Camp

The University of Prishtina is pleased to announce an upcoming lecture by Professor MartinL. Camp, a distinguished academic and legal expert from Southern Methodist University (SMU) Dedman School of Law in Dallas, Texas. The lecture, titled "The Ethical Duties of Lawyers in the United States: Guardians of the Rule of Law," will take place on Monday, 17 March 2025, at Faculty of Law.

Professor Camp, who is currently the Professor of Practice and Assistant Dean for Graduate and International Programs at SMU Dedman School of Law, will explore the critical role that lawyers play in upholding the rule of law in the United States, with a particular focus on ethical duties and responsibilities.

In addition to the lecture, Prof. Camp will present valuable information regarding scholarship opportunities for graduate studies in the United States, offering guidance for those interested in pursuing advanced legal studies abroad.

Professor Camp brings a wealth of experience to this lecture, having taught various courses in Property  and Business Law, as well as Higher Education Law, at SMU. Additionally, he served as the Assistant Dean of Students at SMU Dedman School of Law from 2005 to 2015.

Prof. Camp’s scholarly contributions include writing extensively for Continuing Legal Education (CLE) Programs and authoring the "The Law Firm Associate’s Guide to Connecting with Colleagues."
