Building on the success of last year's inaugural event, the University of Prishtina is once again bringing together diaspora researchers and UP academic staff on a shared platform for discussion and cooperation.
In keeping with its strategic plan and the ongoing engagement of Kosovar-born researchers from leading international universities, UP is organizing the forum as a permanent feature of its summer university program.
Participants from the academic diaspora, partner institutions and organizations, as well as UP leadership and staff, will exchange best practices, highlight promising approaches, and develop concrete ideas for cooperation across a range of scientific fields.
The forum will also include presentations by professors Fetah Podvorica and Kreshnik Hoti, who have returned to UP after spending many years at universities abroad. In dedicated panel sessions, diaspora researchers, UP students, and summer university participants will likewise share their experiences, ideas, and suggestions for deepening and giving practical shape to this collaboration.
These developments represent a natural and necessary next step following the formalization of cooperation through the creation of a dedicated unit within the Center for Advanced Studies.
