The University of Prishtina signed a memorandum of understanding with the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport, with the goal of promoting and strengthening institutional partnerships and cooperation.
The memorandum outlines the creation of a joint cooperation framework for infrastructure and transport development, as well as territorial and urban planning. The University of Prishtina will support the ministry by providing academic expertise on public projects and helping to build professional and scientific capacity. Together, the university and the ministry will also develop strategic projects funded by both domestic and international sources.
The memorandum was signed by the Rector of the University of Prishtina, Prof. Arben Hajrullahu, and the Minister of Infrastructure and Transport, Mr. Dimal Basha.
Also present at the meeting and signing ceremony were the Vice-Rector for Internationalization and Academic Exchange, Prof. Rozafa Basha, and the Head of the Center for Innovation, Laboratory, and Technology (QILT) at the Faculty of Architecture, Prof. Arta Jakupi. Minister Basha was accompanied by his Chief of Cabinet, Bajrush Rrahmani; Political Advisor, Shkëmb Isufi; and Executive Assistant, Doruntina Xhemajli.
As part of its ongoing commitment to the wider public good, the University of Prishtina has also signed similar agreements with the Ministry of Defense, the Ministry of Environment and Spatial Planning, the Ministry of Justice, and the Ministry of Industry, Entrepreneurship, Trade, and Innovation, in addition to the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure.
