The University of Prishtina has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Ministry of Industry, Entrepreneurship, Trade, and Innovation (MINTI) to promote cooperation between institutions and build a strong innovation ecosystem.
According to the agreement, the University and the Ministry will work together to develop joint programs in areas such as innovation, digital transformation, and technology transfer between academia and industry.
With its expert staff and the practical work of its students, the University of Prishtina will support the Ministry with development projects. Both parties will also help startups, small businesses, and innovative initiatives with potential for growth.
The memorandum was signed by the Rector of the University, Prof. Arben Hajrullahu, and the acting Minister of Industry, Entrepreneurship, Trade, and Innovation, Ms. Mimoza Kusari-Lila.
Rector Hajrullahu assured that the knowledge and skills at the University of Prishtina will serve both local and national projects.
Minister Kusari-Lila emphasized that the Ministryt needs to start active cooperation with the University of Prishtina and its academic units as soon as possible to improve the quality of public projects.
This year, the University of Prishtina has also signed agreements with the Ministry of Justice, the Ministry of Environment and Spatial Planning, and the Kosovo Cadastral Agency to serve the public interest.
