Leaders from several departments of the Student Center, alongside its General Director, visited the Rectorate to brief the University of Prishtina (UP) management on preparations for welcoming students to dormitories and the canteen ahead of the 2025/26 academic year. 

The Rector of the University of Prishtina, Prof. Arben Hajrullahu, and the Vice-Rector for Budget, Finance, and Cooperation with the Public and Private Sectors, Prof. Albana Berisha-Qehaja, welcomed the General Director of the Student Center, Ekrem Rudari; the Director of Housing, Culture, and Sports, Isak Beha; and the Director of Kitchen and Restaurant Services, Fahri Osmani. 

Rector Hajrullahu wished the guests a successful, productive, and problem-free year in accommodating students and preparing meals, while senior officials from the Student Center assured that everything is ready to optimally welcome students studying at UP, whether dining in the canteen, residing in dormitories, or preparing for exams within the center’s facilities. 

The meeting also addressed coordination between the Student Center and UP’s Rectorate to ensure that students admitted through the supplementary enrollment process in September can access canteen and dormitory services. 

Unlike previous years, when the academic year at UP began on October 1, the current statute adopted in 2024 sets the start date for the academic year on September 15. 

Annually, the Student Center accommodates approximately 4,000 students across its housing, study, and dining facilities.
