The University of Prishtina signed a cooperation agreement with the Robert J. Dole Institute and the University of Kansas in the USA

Audrey Coleman, Director of the American "Robert J. Dole" Institute of Politics affilated with the University of Kansas, visited the Rectorate of the University of Prishtina today. 

The distinguished guest was welcomed by Rector Prof. Arben Hajrullahu and Vice-Rector for Internationalization and Academic Exchange Prof. Rozafa Basha, accompanied by Prof. Qëndrim Gashi from the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics at UP. 

Rector Hajrullahu and Director Coleman signed an agreement between the University of Prishtina and the University of Kansas for collaboration in cultural, educational, and scientific fields. 

The agreement specifies exchanges in scientific research, cultural and educational activities, as well as cooperation in organizing joint initiatives. It also aims to facilitate the sharing of experiences, visits, academic materials, and information between professors and students of both universities. 

Rector Hajrullahu stated that he is very pleased for the agreement with the Robert J. Dole Institute and pledged that the University of Prishtina will do everything to strengthen the connections and values upon which both signing parties are founded. 

Audrey Coleman, Director of the American Robert J. Dole Institute of Politics, expressed great satisfaction at the opportunity to use Senator Dole’s legacy to preserve and advance the already established relationships. 

The meeting also highlighted Senator Robert Dole’s visit to occupied Kosovo on August 29, 1990, alongside six congressional colleagues. Director Coleman commended the messages conveyed during Senator Dole’s visit 35 years ago, emphasizing his assurance that “freedom, democracy, and respect for human rights are coming”.
