Rector Arben Hajrullahu, in a meeting with Anna Y. C. Ho, Deputy Director of the Taipei Representative Office in Hungary, stated that the cooperation between the University of Prishtina and Taiwanese universities will be excellent.

In January 2025, the University of Prishtina and the National Taiwan University signed a student exchange agreement. Ms. Anna Y. C. Ho regarded this university as one of the best in her country.

"Everything starts with the first step," said Rector Hajrullahu, urging further steps to seek cooperation opportunities for linking universities with the job market and businesses.

The meeting also discussed study opportunities in this Asian country and the scholarships that Taiwanese universities offer to students from Kosovo and other countries in the region.

The participants agreed that contacts between Kosovar and Taiwanese academic staff and students could be increased and strengthened through participation in lectures and activities at the University of Prishtina's Summer University, which will celebrate its 25th jubilee edition in 2025.
