UP Memberships

The University of Prishtina is a member of the European University Association (EUA), a EU-based international network which represents more than 850 universities and national rectors’ conferences in 48 European countries. EUA plays a crucial role in the Bologna Process and in influencing EU policies on higher education, research and innovation. EUA provides unrivalled opportunities for members to share best practices by participating in projects, events and other mutual-learning activities involving a wide range of universities.
Launched in 2008, EURAS is a non-profit international association, promoting cooperation among over 110 universities from all across the West and Central Europe, Balkans, Caucasus, Middle East as well as the whole of Asia. EURAS supports the enhancement of academic standards; the strengthening leadership practices; the development of shared policies; students and academic staff mobility.
The Balkan Universities Association is a network of higher education institutions which aims at the strengthening of common values, innovation and research objectives. The BUA provides its members with opportunities for sharing scientific work in the field of languages, culture, arts, history, economy and education. As part of its mission, the BUA supports intercultural dialogue, joint study programs and opportunities for joint scientific projects.
