More than 200 institutions and businesses participated in The National Job, Career, and Entrepreneurship Fair held today. During the fair, students and graduates of the University of Pristina were given the opportunity to explore job vacancies and other opportunities for career development, including practical work, training, scholarships, CV compilation, and more.

The rector, Prof. Dr. Qerim Qerimi greeted the beginning of the fair by emphasizing that this event, in addition to serving students and graduates, will also create space for evaluating the needs of the UP to identify programs and develop curricula in compliance with market requirements.

"Being the largest institution for the academic preparation of youngsters in Kosovo, the UP needs continuous updating. The university needs to follow the world trend in identifying programs and developing study curricula and their proper implementation, in compliance with the demands of the labor market. This aim is included in my current plan for the UP, for the realization of which the creation of new partners is necessary", emphasized the rector.

The fair was also greeted by the Minister of Industry, Trade and Entrepreneurship, Mrs. Rozeta Hajdari, who emphasized that the education and professional training of young people requires special attention since the future of the country's economy relies precisely on the education system.

Mr. Sebastian Leuschner from the German Embassy in Kosovo talked about the fair and the opportunities it offers and at the same time thanked the partners of this project, who made its realization possible.

The job fair was organized by the University of Prishtina "Hasan Prishtina", the Government of Kosovo, the Employment Agency in the Republic of Kosovo, and the German Government, through GIZ and KDWV (Kosovarisch-Deutsche Wirtschaftsvereinigung).

Various academic units, centers, and offices within the UP participated in this fair, including the Center for Career Development, which coordinated and implemented this project in its entirety.
