The University of Prishtina is pleased to share the opportunity for students to apply for the Erasmus Mundus Joint Master in Astrophysics and Space Science (MASS), an internationally master's programme funded by the European Union.
MASS is a two-year master's programme (120 ECTS credits) designed to provide top-ranked students with advanced knowledge in astrophysics and space science. The programme covers: Gravitation and Cosmology, Stellar Astrophysics, Exoplanets, Astrophysical Techniques, Astrostatistics and Big Data, Space Science.
MASS is jointly offered by four prestigious European universities:
- Tor Vergata University of Rome (Italy)
- University of Bremen (Germany)
- Université Côte d'Azur (France)
- University of Belgrade (Serbia)
The programme also collaborates with leading space agencies, research institutions, and space industries, providing students with valuable industry exposure.
The programme is open to students of all nationalities who:
- Hold a recognized Bachelor's degree (at least 3 years, 180 ECTS credits) in Astronomy, Astrophysics, Physics, Mathematics, Computing Science, Space Engineering, or related fields.
- Have a certified good knowledge of English.
- Expect to complete their Bachelor's degree before July 2025 (for students who do not require a visa) or June 2025 (for students requiring a visa to study in Italy).
Fundings:
A limited number of full Erasmus Mundus scholarships are available for students of all nationalities, covering tuition fees, travel expenses, and living costs. Additionally, an EMJM-equivalent scholarship is funded by the Italian Space Agency.
